The internship in Finland of students of the Engineering-Technical Institute, who are studying computer technologies for packaging design and manufacturing is finished.
For the second time, such a trip was made possible thanks to our partnership with the Berlin University of Applied Sciences and the personal efforts of Professor Stefan Junge, a true friend of Ukrainian students and Ukraine.
The team of our girls - Olha Romaniuk, Tamila Silenko, Daria Husakova, Yevheniia Babenko and Sofiia Zakharchuk were trained at the company Metsa Board, which is a well-known manufacturer of cardboard and packaging materials based on it.
The rich program included a visit to a real Finnish forest to get acquainted with the organization of production from the procurement of raw materials to finished products; a research laboratory and R&D center with state-of-the-art equipment for product development and quality control; design studio and demonstration center Pro Nemus for working with customers.
A pleasant addition was joint work and informal communication with a group of German students and company specialists.
At the end of the trip, the girls, together with Professor Stefan Junge, got acquainted with the capital of Finland, the wonderful city of Helsinki.
Our students were once again convinced that the knowledge received at the University and English language open up wide prospects for professional and personal growth both in Ukraine and abroad.
