REQUIREMENTS FOR ARTICLES
Articles should be prepared taking into account the Resolution of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine No 7-05 / 6 "On increasing the requirements for professional publications included in the lists of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine". Scientific articles are published, which have the following necessary elements: problem statement in general and its connection with important scientific or practical tasks; analysis of the latest research and publications in which the solution of a certain problem is initiated and on which the author relies; selection of previously unsolved parts of the general problem to which this article is devoted; formulation of the goals of the article (task statement); presentation of the main material of the study with a full justification of the obtained scientific results; conclusions from this study and prospects for further exploration in this direction.
Unpublished articles containing the results of fundamental theoretical developments and the most significant applied research of teachers, researchers, doctoral students, graduate students and students are accepted for publication. All articles are subject to mandatory review by leading experts in the relevant field of food technology, appointed by the scientific editor of the journal.
The manuscript of the article is sent in two copies, in Ukrainian, including tables, figures, bibliography.
Articles are submitted in the form of readable printouts on A4 paper (margins on all sides of 2 cm, font Arial or Time New Roman, size 14, spacing 1.5) and an electronic version (Microsoft Word editor) on electronic media. There should be no other versions and other articles on the electronic media, and blank lines in the text of the article. Only one space is allowed between words. All pages of text must be numbered.
The first page contains: in the upper left corner - UDC code (bold), below the initials and surnames of the authors (bold), scientific degrees of the authors, the name of the institution where the author works; then - the title of the article in large bold letters, under the title - annotation in Ukrainian with keywords (5-6 words / key phrases) typed in light italics; the phrase "Keywords" - in bold.
At the end of the first page, under a short line, put the copyright mark, initials, names of authors, year.
The materials presented in the article should be divided into main content sections, such as: problem statement, purpose of research, materials and methods, research results, conclusions. Each of the following sections of the article begins with a new paragraph ("Problem statement", "Research purpose", "Materials and methods", "Research results", "Conclusions" - in bold italics).
After the text of the article in alphabetical order or reference in the text is a list of references (each source of the paragraph). Bibliographic descriptions are made in accordance with DSTU GOST 7.1: 2006 "System of standards for information, library and publishing. Bibliographic record. Bibliographic description. General requirements and rules of assembly ". In the text, the cited source is indicated in square brackets by the number below which it stands in the bibliography. The bibliographic description is given in the language of the publication. References to unpublished materials are not allowed. References to recent work should predominate in the list of sources.
The names of foreign authors in the text of the article should be given in the Ukrainian transcription.
The following is a list of reference: annotation and keywords (Summary) in English (the size of the annotation is not less than 1800 characters without spaces, should contain brief information on each of the main content sections), the phrase "Key words" - in bold.
All annotations should contain brief information about the object and methods of research with the main results of the work and recommendations on the scope of their application.
The text of annotations and keywords is followed by the phrase "Received by the editorial board (date)" (typed in italics). The date of receipt of the article is considered to be the date of its receipt by the editors.
The printed version of the article is signed by all authors.
In case of receiving an article issued in violation of the proposed requirements, the editorial board does not register the article. If it is necessary to finalize the article in accordance with the comments of the reviewer, the authors are sent a copy of the manuscript, which together with the review, response to the reviewer, two copies of the corrected article and electronic media with corrected text should be returned to the editors.
Execute tables in Microsoft Office Word in DOC format. Each table must have a thematic title, typed in bold, and a serial number (without the (sign), if there are several tables. If the table is one, then only the title (without the word "Table"), the word "Table" and the number - in italics, the title - in bold. Tables should be closed - with side, bottom and horizontal rulers in the table field.
Illustrations must be done carefully, in CorelDraw or any other graphic editor, on white paper and placed in the text and in separate files (CDR, EPS, WMF, EMF formats; TIF, JPG formats - resolution not less than 300 dpi). The photos are printed only when absolutely necessary, they must be clear, contrasting, made on white photo paper, size 6x9 cm.
Captions to pictures are typed on a separate page or directly under the pictures in direct font.
Repetition of the same data in the text, tables and figures is not allowed.
Formulas are inserted directly into the text using the formula editor. Numbering of formulas - in Arabic numerals in parentheses near the right margin of the page.
The physical, chemical, technical and mathematical terms, units of physical quantities and symbols used in the article should be generally accepted. Abbreviations for units of physical quantities must comply with the International System of Units (SI).
The following are attached to the articles: extract from the minutes of the meeting of the department (subdivision) with the recommendation of work for printing; information about the authors (surname, full name and patronymic, scientific degree, place of work, contact telephone numbers, address), departmental opinion / expert opinion (for articles of third parties), a statement signed by the author(s), that the submitted article has not been previously published or submitted to any other publications.
Under quarantine restrictions, the author is allowed to add additional scans/photos of documents with signatures.
