    Educational and Scientific Institute of Economics and Management is a structural unit of the National University of Food Technologies, which trains students in prestigious specialties (educational programs, specializations), that are in greatest demand on the labor market.

    The training of highly-qualified specialists in the field of economics has been carried out in our university for over 85 years. Graduates in business economics, finance, banking and insurance, accounting and taxation, marketing, management, human resources management, logistics, advertising and public relations, entrepreneurship, international economic relations are always at the forefront of employers' attention and in high demand on the labor market.

    Institute of Economics and Management is focused on the training of highly competitive specialists with profound professional knowledge, have continuous computer training throughout the entire period of study and are fluent in a foreign language.

    Curricula of the specialties of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Economics and Management are filled with modern disciplines, the study of which provides students with knowledge on the effectiveness of use of new and traditional forms of management, ways of improving of management efficiency in the particular field, taking into account advanced domestic and foreign experience. In order to improve the quality of students' training at the Institute of Economics and Management, new disciplines, which correspond to current trends in market development, are regularly introduced. Material and technical resources are being improved. To ensure the compliance of the qualifications of our graduates with the needs of employers, in cooperation with them, certified programs for the formation of modern business competencies were developed and integrated into the educational programs of students of all specialties of our institute. Such approaches in training ensure successful employment of graduates of the Institute of Economics and Management.

    Students take internships at the leading food industry enterprises, banking institutions, insurance companies, advertising and staffing agencies, trading companies, travel agencies, restaurant business companies, government agencies and institutions. High level of foreign language proficiency gives the opportunity to strengthen and deepen international contacts. Students and teachers take part in international conferences, undergo internships and maintain professional relations with the leading universities in the USA, Canada, France, Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, acquiring scientific knowledge and improving knowledge of foreign languages.

    Anyone willing can obtain a second degree at one of the universities of the European Union.

    Education at the Institute of Economics and Management is carried out on full-time and correspondence or distance forms at the educational levels «Bachelor», «Master», «Doctor of Philosophy».
