The reconstruction of Ukraine is not a return to the pre-war state, but a full-fledged development and integration into the European Community, based on the principles of sustainable development and taking into account the European Green Course, which is also a guarantee of the fulfilment of the Copenhagen criteria for joining the EU, therefore the use of principles and standards sustainable construction will be extremely important for the recovery of our country.
Within these paradigms, the experts of the German Sustainable Building Council, Mr Levan Ekhvaia and Ms Seema Issar conducted the "International DGNB Consultant Training" training, which lasted from March 1 to 3 at the Entrepreneurship Support Centre of the L’viv City Council.
Maksym Kryvosheev, a stakeholder of the Department of Thermal Power Engineering and Refrigeration Engineering and Gryshchenko Roman, associate professor of the department, took part in the training.
The training is intended for familiarization with the DGNB certification system (version 2020, international) for disseminating and implementing knowledge about sustainable construction standards in Ukraine.
After the training, the participants received the right to take the exam to obtain the international qualification of International DGNB Consultant.
