The Department trains specialists on the Bachelor’s and Master’s educational and qualification levels in such specialties as «Marketing», «Advertising and Public Relations», «Entrepreneurship, trade and stock exchange activity».
Graduates of the Department work on the positions of marketing, sales, advertising and public relations managers, heads of the relevant departments, as well as specialists in the development of strategies for sales market expanding, market research analysts, experts in the efficiency of entrepreneurship and marketing, advertising experts and merchandisers.
The Department of Marketing is a friendly team of experienced researchers who train highly qualified specialists for food industry and other areas of economics. The achievements of scientific and technological progress are intensively introduced into the educational process. In particular, the Department has a separate computer lab with marketing software, and a specialized lecture room with modern equipment to conduct lectures in relevant disciplines.
The University provides students with the possibility to undertake a work experience internship and pre-graduation practical training at the leading enterprises of food industry of Ukraine, such as Private Joint Stock Company «Obolon», Public Joint Stock Company «Carlsberg Ukraine», the Rosinka Company, «Zhytomyr meat processing plant», bread-baking complexes such as Public Joint Stock Company «Kyivhlib» and the others.
An important direction in the work of the Department of Marketing of NUFT is collaboration with CEDIMES International Institute, in particular with its educational institutions such as Paris-2 and Paris-12 Universities, University of Bordeaux (France), University of Toronto (Canada), University of Bern (Switzerland). The Department staff is actively involved into international colloquium, held by this organization. In accordance with the agreement concluded with the CEDIMES International Institute, the Department of Marketing arranges additional courses (according to the curriculum of the organization with the prospect of learning at graduate courses in France) for the students who are willing to obtain French Master’s Degree Diploma.
