The theme of the department research work is theoretical aspects of sustainable development of the Ukrainian economy. The themes of the research work of the lecturers of the department cover the following main areas:
- research on economic growth and transition to a sustainable economic development model of Ukraine;
- analysis of socio-economic aspects of labor employment;
- peculiarities of the the domestic business sector development and the globalization impact on its development;
- analysis of the economic capital consolidation mechanism of enterprises;
- research of the organizational and economic mechanism of social protection of the market population type;
- research of ecological and economic mechanism of nature use in market conditions;
- nresearch of sustainable economic growth problems in the history of development of domestic economic thought;
- research on food security issues in Ukraine.
All these issues are covered at the meetings, scientific and methodological seminars of the department. The results of the research are implemented in the educational process, as well as, are reflected in professional and other international scientific publications, are represented at scientific conferences and conferences.
