The Student Center for Patriotic Education and Cultural Development, which functions at the National University of Food Technologies, was founded in order to organize favorable conditions for improvement of student’s creative potential, for search, support and stimulation of intellectually and creatively gifted youth, as well as for self-realization of their creative personality in modern society.
The students of the University have repeatedly become the laureates and winners of international, all-Ukrainian competitions and students art festivals; in particular, the team of the University "Club of the smart and the merry" (KVN) "Prospectus of Sciences" repeatedly won the regional, all-Ukrainian and international KVN leagues; the university student Irina Ostrovska became the winner of a talent show on the TV channel "Ukraine".
Activities of the Student Center for Patriotic Education and Cultural Development in conducting and organizing cultural mass work among the students of the University have the following areas of artistic activity: the vocal genre club, faculty groups of modern dance, ballroom dance, faculty vocal-instrumental groups, KVN teams, performers of the original genre.
Creative activities at the university have good, stable traditions.
The artistic year closes with traditional graduation evenings and meetings with past years graduates. The festive atmosphere of graduation ceremony is complemented by the colorful festive greetings from the amateur art talents.
