On May 26-27, 2020, the Department of Physics together with the Department of Higher Mathematics named after Professor Mozhar V.I. initiated and held the All-Ukrainian scientific-methodical Internet conference "Actual scientific-methodical problems of physics and mathematics in higher education institutions", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of our departments.

Also, on November 26, 2019, the Department of Physics organized a scientific and practical seminar with international participation "Improvement of physical methods of food quality control", dedicated to the 135th anniversary of our university. Specialists from Bruker Bio Spin GmbH (Germany) in the agro-industrial complex: Dr. Marcus Link (Key Account Manager), Lea Heinz (Product Manager Food Screener) and Thomas Spengler (Market Manager) were invited to the event. They presented the latest technologies for the detection of food counterfeits, including honey, by nuclear magnetic resonance (1H-NMR). The event, held by the Department of Physics, aroused considerable interest from honey exporters.
